12-35 Months (Parent & Me)

Parent & Me lessons are designed to get your child a great start that will best prepare them for our three-year-old beginner classes.

Parent & Me lessons allow our youngest  students to experience the water in a comfortable and fun way.  Positive first experiences are very important for new swimmers.  Children in this age group connect especially well via shared experiences with parents.  Encouragement, creativity and controlled independence are important components of the learning approach.  Our classes also provide parents with important water safety information as they introduce their child to the joy of swimming.

Parent & Me lessons:

• Use songs, games and creativity to keep lessons fun
• Teach progressive independence as students enjoy freedom of movement and expression of motor skills
• help build confidence for parents and students in a safe environment
• use easy-to-remember activities so parents and students can practice between lessons for more skill development.
